Another thing to add to the list of banes of my existance - politicians. Every last one of them. Especially our President.

Sometime yesterday, my brother called us (the one in the Navy) and told us that Obama has proposed some major changes to Tricare, the military healthcare program. This proposal would, and I quote, "ncrease out of pocket expenses for medical care for Military Families and Veterans, while others would lose their VA benefits altogether. Veterans whose medical condition isn’t service related could end up no longer being eligible for VA medical care at all." (Source: [link])

What the hell is he thinking? Our servicemen and women are paid CRAP to put their lives on the line every day, and they're paid crap to boot. Should Obama eliminate Tricare, many of them wouldn't be able to afford health insurance, and yet still not qualify for this non-existant public option. How the hell does he figure this is going to "balance our budget?" I'm by no means against Obama, but he's doing some stupid stuff right now. (BTW, I just cpoy/pasted this rant from my facebook page.)

Stupid people. All of them. And therefore the bane of my existence.
